HIP PRESERVATION IN YOUNG ADULTS

Understand the native hip. Then preserve it.

Replasia gives surgeons a patient-specific view of the young adult hip, in three dimensions and in motion, to support clinical assessment and treatment planning with quantified data.

The problem today

Complex hip preservation decisions need a more complete picture

  1. 1

    A limited three-dimensional picture

Plain radiographs remain essential, but they do not by themselves fully represent three-dimensional joint morphology. Traditional CT imaging does not provide joint movement information or prediction of osseous contact.

  2. 2

    Limited patient-specific treatment planning

Complex joint preservation cases require more than identifying the deformity. The clinical team needs to be able to compare treatment options and their predicted impact on coverage and joint mechanics, and a defined  treatment target before going into the OR.

    Treat for the individual

Translate patient-specific planning into a treatment concept developed around the individual anatomy. Replasia’s 3D‑Shelf implant is currently under clinical investigation and is not commercially available.

HipStudio Analysis, available to European centres today.

HipStudio transforms CT data into a patient-specific 3D reconstruction with quantified morphology and kinematic simulation. Candidate treatment scenarios can then be evaluated on the same anatomy before a plan is selected.

Explore HipStudio
Replasia's HipStudio analysis gives me insight into the individual hip that I simply didn't have from standard imaging. It has become part of how I prepare my cases, and every treatment choice I make is better informed because of it.

Bring one of your cases. We'll walk through it with you.

In a 30-minute session, our clinical engineering team will show you how HipStudio reconstructs anatomy, quantifies morphology and simulates candidate treatment scenarios. If appropriate, we can arrange secure transfer of a CT dataset after the introductory discussion.
